World COPD day – 17th of November 2010
The 17th of November 2010 is the World chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) day. This is an annual event organized by the Global Initiative for Chronic Obstructive Lung Disease (GOLD), who wishes to improve awareness and care of COPD around the world.
The 2010 World COPD Day has the theme “2010 – The Year of the Lung: Measure your lung health – Ask your doctor about a simple breathing test called spirometry.”
