Inertia Technology – The Netherlands (INE)
Inertia Technology is an SME in the newly-emerging field of wireless inertial sensor networks. Inertia is specialized in the development of miniaturized wireless devices that can sense, process and communicate motion features of interest. Using the low-cost wireless sensor nodes, Inertia captures and monitors the motion of people and moving objects, recognizing the activities and providing constructive feedback.
Unlike traditional inertial sensing systems, Inertia focuses on distributed solutions inspired from the field of wireless sensor networks. Benefiting from the wireless communication capabilities, the processing of motion data is done online and in collaboration with other nodes, enabling an increased accuracy of detected features and instantaneous feedback. Our products are therefore portable, easy to plug & play, have a very small form factor and do not require a central processing unit.
